It is a great and powerful tool that enables us to get more fans, more prospects, more customers, and a way to gain targeted traffic to our websites. In other words, it is a great way to generate new leads. However, as per usual, creating a new social presence is always going to be a pain, so I have pieced this information together for you to make the process a little bit more enjoyable.
First of all, you will want to begin filling up your new Google+ page with content before you do anything else. You always have to keep in mind that it is never a good idea to begin promoting something that is not completely ready. Whether it is a new blog, a new FaceBook page, or a new Twitter account, it is never acceptable to start promoting it without active content. So, make sure you spend some time on optimizing your Google+ Page and building it up with content and posts before you begin the promotion process.
Once you have your page up and ready to go with a load of content, I would highly suggest you begin the promotion process on other social networking sites. Think about it, if you already have a following on FaceBook, Twitter, etc… You probably will not have a hard time convincing your current audience to follow you on Google+. Obviously, they already enjoy the content that you provide, so why wouldn’t they be enthusiastic about visiting your Google+ page?
