I’ll be honest with you. Internet marketing is not for everyone. There are a lot of people that start out strong, doing everything they have learned to do in order to be successful. Then it happens. They know there is the potential to make a great income on the internet, but when they don’t see income right away or the money just trickles in, they get discouraged and give up. They didn’t have what it takes to be an internet marketer. So ask yourself if you have what it takes.
- Time – You have to realize that you will not “get rich quick” and still maintain a viable internet business. It does take time to build the business, basing it on a solid foundation of business principles.
- Energy – It may not take a lot of physical energy to build an internet business, but it takes a lot of mental energy in order follow the steps necessary and stay motivated. That mental energy also helps you to come up with unique ideas for your products as well as how you market them.
- Self–Discipline – Once you have your business plan in place, you have to have the discipline to stick with it. The saying is that “Rome was not built in a day,” and neither will your internet business. You have to treat it as you would any other business and actually put in the work that is needed.
- Goals – If you don’t have any goals for your business, you probably won’t succeed. Business goals give you a direction to move, and helps you to build the business a step at a time. Keep them realistic and attainable, and as you reach one, add another.
